Lucian Iordache
Lucian has over 30 years’ experience in welding and materials R&D with numerous registered patents as well as welding processes and design, non-destructive examination, failure analysis, materials evaluation & testing. As an International Welding Engineer and registered Professional Engineer, he has worked for Arcelor-Mittal, Siemens and the Canadian Welding Bureau. Lucian is our strategic advisor on innovation, training, and R&D initiatives.

Gerrard Middleton
Gerry began his career in Scotland with over 14 years’ experience working on ships and submarines for the UK Ministry and Vickers Shipbuilding where he received his master trade accreditation. Since arriving in Canada 32 years ago, he has worked at Unified Engineering. Currently Gerry is one of our strategic advisors where he provides insight on key initiatives such as partnerships, training & development, and capital equipment purchases.

Anka Masek Tonkovic
For over 50 years Anka has had a decorated career. She was the CFO for a Food and Beverage Company and a Professor of Economics at the EFOS University of Osijek. Anka has also consulted for the World Bank for economic development projects in Europe. Currently, Anka is a strategic advisor on financial cost models such as cost benefit and risk analysis for larger projects and strategic partnerships for Unified Engineering.

Kelly Lewis
Kelly’s career has spanned more than 35 years in the Steel Industry. He began his career early in maintenance as a millwright and later expanded into the welding field. With years of supervisory experience, he has had extensive experience in project management, benchmarking, corporate realignments, and Ministry industry committees.
